What is Ember?

Ember is a disposable camera for events. A host creates an event in the iOS app and shares a link or QR code. Guests open the link in their browser — no app install — take a limited number of shots, and the whole roll “develops” at the end of the event.

Do guests need to install anything?

No. Guests just open the invite link in Safari (iPhone) or Chrome (Android). Only the host uses the iOS app.

When do photos appear?

Photos develop when the event ends (or when the host ends it early). Until then, guests see a countdown. Developing usually takes under a minute once the event closes.

The camera won’t open in my browser.

Make sure you opened the link in Safari or Chrome rather than an in-app browser like Instagram or TikTok. Check that camera access is allowed for the site, and close other apps that might be using the camera.

How do I report a photo?

On the developed roll, tap the flag icon on any photo and choose a reason. Reports go to info@naachtech.com and we review them within 72 hours. Hosts can also remove any photo and block a guest from inside the iOS app.

How do I delete my account or my photos?

Hosts: in the iOS app, go to Settings → Delete account. This removes your account, every event you hosted, and every photo taken at those events. Guests: ask the host to remove your photos, or email us at info@naachtech.com with the event link.
